Excellent accommodation – beautiful surroundings. We particularly appreciated the Art Deco style furnishings. Hopefully, we will return at some time to enjoy the scenery of this area. Many thanks and A Merry Christmas

What a beautiful house! We had a great time here, as we are here for a cycling race the place is perfect, garage (plus table tennis table), prime location, spacious, clean and sleeps a number of people. You have thought of everything! See you in 2012

I told you we would be back! Here we are exactly 1 year later. This place is ideal for us. Grandparents in one section and a family of 5 in the other section – perfect!! You also can not find a better location – right near the shops!! Unlike last year we were able to get out and about and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. The kids had a ball pottering around in the garden all day long, finding critters. We are sad to leave but hopefully will be back again one day. Cheers

What a wonderful ‘cottage’ for a girl’s weekend away. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax; the cottage had everything we needed and the beds nice and comfy. We will definitely be back.

Thank you, we have enjoyed this wonderful cosy cottage in Bright and look forward to coming back again. Even though the weather was not the ‘brightess’ there was plenty to keep us very happy here. The 1930’s theme, along with the space to spread out, settle down and enjoy cooking up a storm, read newly purchased books or study by the fire made Eugenie Cottage a perfect base for our family.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, we loved the cosy house and warm fireplace. Enjoyed being close to the town and walked there for dinner. The garden was beautiful and enjoyed having my cup of tea in the lounge and watching the beautiful garden. Bright is such a Bright place and always feel rejuvenated when we come here. Enjoyed all the food trail and will enjoy eating all the goodies we bought to take home to Melb. Will definitely come back. Regards

Dear Di & Max & fellow guests... hello. So lovely to be back at 'our' cottage in beautiful Bright. We have as always had the most lovely stay despite our Mummy not being quite herself, just out of Cabrini for kidney stones and still more that require 'blasting'. But what a place to recuperate and lift ones spirits again - As always Marianne, Ireen, Franny, Mell and Susy have walked fabulous 'walks' like there is no tomorrow and just seem fitter and younger every year (except Mel & Ruby who are allowed to look their ages 22 & 12 respectively - Mum is amazing about to be 84 ! I'm not in the greatest shape but have come just on the last day, Sat 14th May '11, having had bad whiplash - the electric blanket in first bedroom on right, single bed has helped heal my sore muscles. Our sister Linda & brother in law Doug visited for dinner on Wed evening, our big roast lamb dinner. Mum 'home' quite a bit in front lounge with wood fire going. Leaving tomorrow, Sunday, .. already looking forward to year 8 in Bright.

Thank you for a lovely stay. A charming house, with lovely Art Deco features. Beautiful gardens for the children to play in and lovely aspect to the autumn trees. Perfect location to shops and river. Only improvement to suggest would be to fix taps that are reversed hot/cold. Will definately come again. Many thanks.

Thank you for making our stay most enjoyable! The weather was pretty bleak which enabled us to enjoy the comforts of this home & snuggling up by the fire. We, as an extended family have been coming up to Bright for the past 5 years & have stayed in over 10 places combined but honestly nothing compares to this. We could not fault it! We were very impressed by the cleanliness too. Our little children had a ball pottering around the front garden to find some critters! I am sure they will remember this place too. To Max & Di, What a lovely holiday haven you have created !! We have had a lovely holiday. The cottage is so homely and comfortable and everything is provided. The beds were cosy and towels fluffy and we were very warm. The front garden is so beautiful (just perfect to have a cuppa in !) We love the fact that we can just walk to everything and not spend the holiday in the car. Thank you again for all your caring re our stay dates and the best part is we know we will be back ... See you again soon.

We have enjoyed another terrific stay at Eugenie Cottage which comfortably accommodates our extended family – 3 generations together. Everything was perfect, a lovely clean house to relax in. The table tennis was a hit !! we need to return to win the tournament !! a great family event. We have really enjoyed a very relaxing family holiday in beautiful Bright... Thank you...

“Christmas in July” what a great place to be for this magnificent week. We have had glorious sunny days, fabulous brisk mornings with lots of red wine and a warm fire at night. Coffee (lots of coffee too!) and homemade scones along with shopping at Amanda’s Christmas shop – what more can you ask for – we love Bright ! See you next year !!

We have had another terrific stay at Eugenie Cottage, very different to a summer stay but lovely and cosy nevertheless. Lots of space, beautifully equipped kitchen, gorgeous gardens for the children to run around in, looking forward to coming back again !!
